Open positions

Branch Officer

Vice-President (internal)

Duties may include:

  • Booking spaces for events when necessary
  • Planning the agenda for Branch meetings
  • Maintain the records of the Branch
  • Assist the President in running the Branch

Branch Officer

Secretary & Treasurer

Duties may include:

  • Managing the finances of the Branch
  • Co-signatory of all cheques and requisitions
  • Collaborate with the VP of External affairs to create sponsorship programs
  • Record the minutes during Branch meetings

VP & Director

Events

Duties may include:

  • Planning, coordinating, and conducting events such as seminars, networking events, info sessions, workshops, lunch & learn, wine & cheese, etc.
  • Proposing event topics and innovative ways of delivery

VP & Director

Marketing

Duties may include:

  • In charge of our visual identity through graphic design for diverse purposes
  • Finding new and original ways to market ASHRAE through advertisement campaigns, educational content posts, event banners, etc.
  • Posting on and maintaining our social media profiles

Outreach

Duties may include:

  • Recruitment of new members into the ASHRAE Concordia University Student Branch
  • Presenting ASHRAE in engineering classrooms
  • Organizing outreach events to promote ASHRAE and Engineering to younger demographics

External affairs

Duties may include:

  • Contacting external parties for potential collaboration in events or sponsorship programs
  • Propose ways to create a link between academic life and the engineering industry
  • Collaboration with the Treasurer to prepare sponsorship programs
